Adjunct Professor - School of Education: Applied Behavior Analysis - Online Campus Candidate Pool
About The Position
The School of Education at Alliant University offers a variety of degrees, certificates, and credentials in education that prepare students to make a lasting impact through teaching, counseling, leadership, advocacy, administration, management, and community work. The Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a 12-month full-time program designed for working adults. The ABA Program mission is to prepare students to be professionally competent, compassionate, and ethical practitioners of applied behavior analysis who work with individuals diagnosed with disabilities and their families. Applicants to this position will be considered for a candidate pool encompassing one or more of the subject areas outlined in the job description. This pool will be used to identify qualified candidates for potential appointments during the 2026–2027 academic year.
Requirements
- Doctoral or Master degree in Psychology, Special Education, ABA, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Board certified behavior analyst (BCBA)
- Appropriate experience with teaching graduate courses in applied behavior analysis
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Responsibilities
- Facilitate graduate-level ABA courses that align with program learning outcomes, BACB 6th Edition Test Outline Content, and APBA accreditation standards.
- Update syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments that reflect adult learning principles and best online teaching practices.
- Class curriculum coordination and planning.
- Assessment and evaluation of learners.
- Support students as needed.
- Hold weekly, synchronous office hours and meet with students upon request.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the ABA Program Director to ensure course quality and identify course updates.
- Ensure all course content upholds professional and ethical requirements of the behavior analytic community.
