About The Position

The California School of Management and Leadership (CSML) is seeking Adjunct Professors for its MBA Program at the Los Angeles Campus. This is a candidate pool for potential appointments during the 2026-2027 academic year. CSML focuses on professional practice, applied theory, and contemporary techniques, with a strong global dimension and a multicultural student population. The school is in a growth phase, expanding its programs both online and geographically. Adjunct faculty will teach courses in areas such as Analysis of Financial and Accounting Data, Technology Tools for Managerial Decision Making, Statistical Analysis and Modeling for Business, and Technology Enabled Operations Management. Each course is 8 weeks long with additional time for preparation and grading, meeting one day a week for 4 hours or in an executive format.

Requirements

• Master’s, Doctoral or other terminal degree from an accredited college or university, depending upon the needs of the course being taught.
• 5 years of appropriate experience in the areas(s) of specialization and expertise required for candidates with a master’s degree.
• Two (2) years of appropriate experience in the area(s) of specialization and expertise required for candidates with a doctoral degree.
• Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• The ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
• The ability to explain complex requirements in clear and concise terms.
• The ability to be flexible with workflow to meet the needs of the department and students and to manage multiple tasks per required deadlines.
• The drive to encourage, direct, hold accountable and guide candidates toward task completion.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as an effective team member and develop trusting relationships with students and Alliant employees, as well as the Registrar’s Office and various academic departments.
• Culturally competent and ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse people.
• Highly motivated, focused and results oriented.
• Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal interactions, and to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
