About The Position

SMCC is seeking an adjunct instructor in Physics to teach descriptive, Algebra and Calculus-based introductory Physics courses. Depending on one’s qualifications, there may be additional opportunities to teach Astronomy and/or Chemistry courses. Requirements

Master’s degree in Physics, or related field
Postsecondary teaching experience, or related teaching experience

Nice To Haves

Doctoral degree in physics or related field
5 years community college teaching experience
Experience with on-line teaching

Responsibilities

Teach descriptive, Algebra and Calculus-based introductory Physics courses.
Potentially teach Astronomy and/or Chemistry courses depending on qualifications.
