About The Position

Chatham University is seeking Adjunct Nursing Faculty primarily for its online RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP Programs. This role involves teaching online courses, grading student assignments, providing timely feedback, and maintaining professional communication with students, faculty, and staff. Faculty members are expected to post weekly updates in the Learning Management System course shell, collaborate with full-time faculty and course liaisons, and be committed to continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Pennsylvania professional nursing license, or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
• Two degrees in nursing
• Doctoral degree required to teach as MSN and DNP level; MSN degree required to teach at RN-BSN level

Nice To Haves

• Online nursing teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Teaching online courses as assigned – up to 5 courses per academic year
• Grading student assignments and providing student feedback in a timely manner
• At minimum, posting weekly updates in the Learning Management System course shell
• Establishing and maintaining effective, timely, clear, professional communication with students, faculty, and staff
• Working with full-time faculty and course liaisons as needed
• Committed to continuous quality improvement
