The Adjunct Lecturer/Counselor teaches courses within the Counseling and Counselor Education tracks in the Counseling Program housed in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation (.25 FTE - 1 class per semester). This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Requirements

  • Must have a PhD degree in Counseling or a very closely related field, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program OR a PhD degree in Counselor Education or a very closely related field
  • May substitute a Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience for fieldwork teaching.
  • Virtual instruction.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate online teaching experience
  • Professional experience in the CRC field
  • Valid state license in applicable field of Counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses for the Counseling or Counselor Education tracks of the Counseling program in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation.
