About The Position
The University of Sioux Falls invites applications from qualified adjunct instructors to teach on-ground courses in biology and chemistry, beginning in the spring semester, January 2027, and beyond. Adjuncts are hired on a term-by-term basis, determined by institutional need.
Requirements
- Earned Master’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field.
- Superior teaching skills.
- Desire to engage undergraduate students in classroom learning.
- Interest in teaching general education courses on-ground.
- Commitment to academic excellence in a Christian liberal arts environment.
- Commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
- Pass a required background check.
Nice To Haves
- Earned or in-progress doctorate.
- Broad training in biology and chemistry.
- Experience teaching in the classroom at the college level (traditional on-ground courses).
- Availability during daytime hours for on-ground classes.
Responsibilities
