Chatham University seeks to fill Adjunct Instructor opportunities in the Department of Sustainability and the Environment of the Falk College of Environment, Leadership, and Management (ELM). Individuals with professional experience and training in the areas of environmental science, food studies, sustainability, sustainable business, urban systems, natural resource management, community planning, sustainable tourism, conservation practice, or environmental management are encouraged to apply. Our department of Sustainability and the Environment houses curricula that align with the University’s core values of sustainability, community engagement, and inclusion. Instructors may use a variety of teaching methods to promote student engagement such as experiential learning, group discussion, project work, simulations, case analysis, field trips, guest lectures, multimedia, or other techniques. Classes may be offered in a traditional, synchronous, or asynchronous manner, depending on the course. Review of applications is ongoing.
