Requirements

• MA in Communication Studies or related field.
• Strong background in public speaking.
• Teaching experience in communication studies.

Responsibilities

• Teach SPE 1000 Core Public Speaking, an introduction to the theory and practice of public speaking in a variety of communication contexts.
• Students will learn and practice the principles of public speaking, including topic choice, audience adaptation, invention and arrangement of arguments, and the incorporation of the appropriate style to the message.
• Additionally, students will learn techniques in active listening and message evaluation.
