About The Position

Prairie View A&M University’s Department of Accounting, Finance, & MIS seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach two Business Law courses in Spring 2026. Salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience, within the assigned salary range.

The successful candidate will teach up to two Business Law courses, maintain course and student records, post midterm and final grades, submit attendance reports, mentor students, and maintain office hours. The instructor will also perform other duties as assigned by the department head.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accrediting institution.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
