About The Position
Daemen University is seeking a part-time instructor for college composition courses. Both online (asynchronous) and in-person positions are available. The online role involves administering a writing course through the Learning Management System, interacting with students remotely, grading, and administrative tasks. The in-person role includes, in addition to the above, teaching face-to-face classes. This position is for an Online role (Summer 2026) & Amherst Campus (Fall 2026).
Requirements
- Master's degree in English, Writing Studies, or related field
- Previous experience teaching college-level Composition
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary experience teaching First-Year Writing or Research Writing
