About The Position
The Division of Arts and Humanities at Penn State Abington is seeking a part-time instructor to teach one section of THEA 102 Fundamentals of Acting, beginning August 2026. This is a one semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates with a student-centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Experience teaching at the college level is required.
Nice To Haves
- MFA or MA is preferred.
- Professional acting experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of THEA 102 Fundamentals of Acting, scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
