About The Position
Wilson Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for potential future class instruction. These positions may or may not be available at this time, but qualified applicants may be contacted in the future. Part-time/adjunct faculty are responsible for providing quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Only qualified, credentialed applicants will be considered for teaching disciplines including History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in History, Political Science, Psychology, or Sociology, OR a master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in one of these disciplines.
- Experience teaching in one of the following social sciences disciplines: History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Moodle is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes.
- Maintain and submit accurate attendance.
- Maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades.
- Submit required forms and documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisor.
