About The Position
Atlantic Cape Community College seeks qualified adjunct instructors to deliver high-quality instruction at our three full-service campuses and through distance education. If you are qualified to teach at Atlantic Cape, your materials will be maintained in a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching opportunities arise throughout the academic year, you may be contacted by the College for an interview. Teaching Areas include: Introductory and General Chemistry Lecture and Laboratory, Introductory and General Biology Lecture and Laboratory, and Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and Laboratory.
Requirements
- Master's degree is required for most disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree and/or appropriate experience may be sufficient for some disciplines.
- Qualified degree can be in a specific teaching area or include appropriate coursework in a teaching area.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience is helpful, but not required
- Relevant licensure preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting course materials following collegiate and departmental standards
- Regular communication with students, department, and college community
- Grading, attendance, and reporting as required
- Participation in course and programmatic assessment
- Utilization of Blackboard Ultra LMS and integration of course materials where applicable
Benefits
- Compensation: $810 per contact hour
