Requirements
- A Master's degree in Public Health with outstanding experience in teaching Public Health courses, OR Master's degree in another health professions field with at least 18 graduate hours in Public Health
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in online/hybrid instruction.
- Proven teaching excellence in undergraduate instruction.
Nice To Haves
- Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH, PhD) with significant outstanding teaching experience.
- Terminal degree in specific discipline or a closely related discipline.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
- Experience teaching and developing online courses in the Canvas Learning Management System (Canvas).
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction for undergraduate Public Health courses, including but not limited to: Introduction to Public Health, Program Planning and Evaluation, Health Promotion, Health Policy, Epidemiology
- Design and evaluate teaching objectives and student learning outcomes.
- Fulfill divisional responsibilities, including holding office hours and participating in professional activities.
