About The Position

This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants for physics courses from which the department may draw as sections become open at any point during the academic year. This posting may or may not result in hiring, dependent on our current needs, but we will keep applications on file. We are seeking adjunct science instructors for Cameron University in Duncan and/or Lawton.

Requirements

• For courses in baccalaureate programs, a Master’s Degree in the field of instruction is required.
• In some programs (particularly in Associate’s Degree Programs) a Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in the field can establish eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in physics or physics related field.

Responsibilities

• Teaching physics courses and labs, where applicable
• Attending some mandatory university and department meetings
• Collecting assessment data for the courses under your instruction
• Holding office hours for your students
• Teach day and/or night classes
• Other duties as assigned
