About The Position

Oral Roberts University is seeking an adjunct instructor for its Biology and Chemistry Department. Depending on departmental demand, the instructor will teach freshman- through senior-level Biology or Chemistry courses in residential, online, or virtual formats. The role includes teaching lectures and laboratories as requested by the department, engaging students in active learning, and providing evaluative feedback through a learning management system at least weekly.

Requirements

• At least a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, or a Ph.D. in the same.
• Complete the ORU online faculty application.
• Provide transcripts from all colleges or universities listed on the candidate's CV and application.
• Provide three letters of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Teach lectures and laboratories as requested by the department.
• Teach Biology or Chemistry courses at the freshman through senior level, depending on departmental demand.
• Teach in residential, online, or virtual formats.
