About The Position

Messiah University’s Department of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, including: BSN, MSN – Nurse Educator, Nursing Leadership, and Family Nurse Practitioner; MSN-MBA – Nursing Leadership dual degree; DNP – Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Leadership, Nurse Educator; and CAGS – Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator. The program is known for its high-quality classroom and clinical instruction, producing well-prepared graduates who are highly sought after in local and regional healthcare institutions. The baccalaureate, master’s, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The department features advanced simulation laboratories with medium and high-fidelity human simulators. Students have opportunities for cross-cultural experiences, and intercultural competency development is encouraged. Faculty are dedicated to integrating Christian faith into the practice of the nursing profession.
