About The Position
This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Science & Health Sciences department and reports to the Chair of the Biology Department. Kilgore College is a two-year, comprehensive public community college with a campus in Kilgore and an extension center in Longview, Texas. Requirements
- Mastery of microbiology
- Commitment to excellence in teaching at the community college level
- Master’s degree or higher
- Minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology
- Must live in the State of Texas

Responsibilities
- Teaching a 16 week Biol 2420 (Microbiology for Non-Science Majors) lecture and laboratory course
- Developing appropriate course syllabi
- Working with students as needed
