About The Position

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan. Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.

Requirements

Associate Degree or higher
Minimal two (2) years’ work experience in the field
Appropriate current industry certification /licensure to include at least one of the following: NCMA (NCCT) taken after November 30, 2010, CCMA (NHA) taken after January 30, 2011, CMAC (AMCA) taken after October 8, 2015
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
Knowledge of Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies
Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Must have the ability to work a fluctuating schedule to include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices. This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
Analyzes class and program needs of the College. Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates. Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required.
Assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
