Adjunct Instructor- Mathematics, Computer & Data Science
About The Position
Pacific University is seeking experienced teachers to join their pool of qualified, part-time adjunct faculty to teach mathematics courses. The mathematics program is dedicated to academic excellence and student success, using engaging pedagogy to develop foundational problem-solving skills and an appreciation for mathematics across all student levels. The university is looking for potential instructors with a strong background in mathematics instruction, a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, and the ability to effectively motivate students of varied skill levels. Part-time teaching positions may be available throughout the academic year (Fall & Spring semesters). Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- A minimum of five (3) years of mathematics teaching experience.
- Daytime teaching and office hour availability is required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and continue to work without employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, in-person instruction and timely feedback to undergraduate students on our Forest Grove campus.
- Engage with department faculty to ensure curricular alignment and student success.
