About The Position

The College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services (CNHHS) at Texas A&M University - Texarkana occasionally has openings for part-time adjunct instructors. This application creates a pool of candidates for Healthcare Administration and/or Health Sciences courses for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Courses can be taught in various modalities including face-to-face or online, and in different term lengths (5-week, 8-week, or 16-week). Responsibilities include grading, course content management, student interaction, and timely submission of grades and census data.

Requirements

Minimum educational requirements for undergraduate level courses: Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
Minimum educational requirements for graduate level courses: Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline, or closely related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline.
Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Teach Healthcare Administration and/or Health Sciences course(s) in one or more of the following modalities: Face-to-face or online.
Courses may be conducted as a 5-week, 8-week, or 16-week term.
Coordinate course administrative duties such as grading student work, loading all course content (assessments and lecture modules), meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner, meeting census and grade deadlines, and additional administrative duties as needed.
