About The Position

FVCC seeks applications for adjunct instructors to teach one or two online classes in unmanned aerial mapping and GIS for the 2026-2027 academic year. Fall Semester 2026 (August 24 – December 11): Content expertise in unmanned aerial mapping and/or GIS is required.

Requirements

• Three (3) years’ experience in the occupation to be taught; OR Three (3) years of post-secondary education in the career and technical discipline, combined with work experience in the career and technical discipline.
• Must reside in Montana
• Ability to perform a Medium Duty job, according to the Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined in the Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles, U.S. Department of Labor and Industry. Medium Duty involves exertion of 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
