About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking Adjunct Instructors for their General Chemistry Lab within the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education's (SASE) Chemistry Program. This is an on-site teaching opportunity located on the Manchester, NH campus, reporting to the Associate Dean of SASE. The position is expected to begin in the fall of 2026. The instructor will be responsible for teaching scheduled courses, participating in course content development, accessing and providing feedback on student work, and utilizing Brightspace (the Learning Management System) for course support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Education, or a closely related field required
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience teaching or supervising chemistry laboratory activities, including safe laboratory practices, chemical handling, equipment use and maintenance, and chemical waste procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD preferred
  • Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred

Benefits

  • Compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course.
