About The Position

Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach a variety of HVAC and Plumbing courses during the fall semester. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses may be day or evening and will be taught on-ground at our Auburn campus.

Requirements

  • Current State of Maine Master/Journeyman Oil Burner Technician License or Maine Gas Service and Connection Technician License.
  • At least five years of work experience in the HVAC and/or Plumbing field.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for student learning.
  • Ability to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods.
  • Comfortable with using computers in various capacities.
  • Legally eligible for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and use a learning management system for HVAC and Plumbing courses.
  • Teach courses during the fall semester, which may be day or evening.
  • Teach on-ground at the Auburn campus.
