About The Position

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty to teach classes in its first-year English Composition sequence and its interdisciplinary Humanities program. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate level classes and occasionally meeting with the department faculty or administration. The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences fosters intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason. Requirements

• Master’s degree, Ph.D., or Juris Doctorate required.
• At least 18 graduate level credits in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
• Must have a Christian commitment along with the ability to intentionally integrate Christian faith in coursework.
