About The Position

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach on-site for its Education program within the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE). This teaching opportunity is for the Fall 2026 semester on the Manchester, NH campus. Courses will be offered during the day and early evening on weekdays. The instructor will report to the Associate Dean for SASE and will teach the DEV 260 Culturally Responsive Citizen course, which meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education, teaching or early childhood education.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a classroom instructor, school counselor or para-professional at the K-12 level.
  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person instruction aligned with course goals and SNHU standards.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate with students and support their academic success.
  • Collaborate with department staff to ensure course continuity and quality.
  • Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course.
