Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in the subject matter or a closely related area; OR 2 years of experience teaching or closely related professional experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the subject matter of the class to be taught.
- Knowledge of teaching principles for the age group of the course(s) taught.
- Effective human relations skills and communication techniques.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and oral procedures and instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with people.

- Expert on subject matter with formal or informal teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Designs and teaches a community education non-credit course.
- Prepares instructional materials, including handouts and course syllabus.
