The Division of Business, Health, Humanities, Social Sciences at Penn State Altoona is seeking a part-time instructor in Anthropology to teach entry-level courses in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and/or archaeology. The position involves teaching in-person courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. Opportunities include teaching courses such as World Archaeology, Aztec, Inca, and Maya, The Rise of Civilization in the Old World, North American Archaeology, Introductory Biological Anthropology, Humans as Primates, Cultural Diversity: A Global Perspective, Anthropology of Race and Racism, First Farmers, Anthropology of Alcohol, and Indigenous North America.
