About The Position
Coe College invites applications for a full-time adjunct in Chemistry, beginning January 2027. We seek a teacher-scholar who is passionate about undergraduate education and high-impact teaching practices. Requirements
- M.S. in Chemistry or a closely related field (ABD considered with evidence of timely completion)
- Demonstrated excellence—or clear potential—for effective, student-centered undergraduate teaching
- Ability to teach general chemistry with associated laboratories

- Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
Responsibilities
- Teach General Chemistry courses with laboratories and other courses aligned with the candidate’s area of expertise/interest
- Contribute to departmental assessment
- Hold regular office hours and be responsive to student email questions
