About The Position

Grand Canyon University's College of Engineering and Technology is seeking passionate faculty and faculty leaders to engage and mentor students in the fields of IT and Engineering. As an energetic advisor, you will be committed to helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. This role offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. We are looking for motivated individuals passionate about teaching high-quality instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 5-7 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with relevant work related experience.
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 3-5 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
