Adjunct Faculty - Political Science - Oakland, CA
About The Position
The Department of Political Science in Northeastern University’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities seeks adjunct faculty to teach in-person undergraduate courses on the Oakland Campus. Courses may be in International Relations, Comparative Politics, American Politics, Political Theory, or Public Policy. Start dates are in January and September. Positions are available throughout the year, contingent upon enrollment and departmental need. Compensation is paid per course; the stated rate is $2,484.48 per credit. Applicants should submit a CV and cover letter. Sample syllabi are optional. The successful applicant must maintain valid U.S. work authorization throughout the appointment without visa sponsorship from Northeastern University.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the appointment without visa sponsorship.

- Prior teaching experience in political science or a closely related field, such as public policy, preferred.
