About The Position

The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering seeks applications throughout the year from individuals interested in obtaining temporary teaching positions. Adjunct Faculty will provide instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in various engineering and science topics. These temporary positions may involve teaching one or more courses and are used to fill gaps in department curriculum and instruction. Not all applicants will be contacted regarding a teaching opportunity. The college is specifically seeking applicants able to teach courses related to Engineering Fundamentals, Atmospheric Science, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Systems Engineering.

Requirements

  • Applicants for Instructor positions must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in an engineering or other related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in an engineering discipline
  • Previous experience in teaching or training
