About The Position

Pacific College is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Vocational Nursing Instructor for its LVN/VN program serving the Costa Mesa, Santa Fe Springs, and Ontario campuses. Instructors may teach theory, skills lab, and/or clinical instruction depending on their experience and program needs. The college values reliable, supportive educators who mentor students and help them develop into confident nursing professionals, and is especially interested in instructors open to an ongoing teaching relationship and returning for future terms as scheduling allows. Instructors supervise, coach, and evaluate students; provide constructive feedback; maintain academic records; review course materials; collaborate with faculty and program leadership; and support clinical coordination and regulatory compliance. Theory instructors must be able to commit to a consistent weekday schedule of two days per week. Clinical and skills-lab instructors should be willing to teach weekend skills labs and clinical rotations, including both Saturdays and Sundays, and travel to off-site clinical facilities based on assigned placements. The position is subject to BVNPT regulation and approval.
