About The Position

Maine College of Health Professions (MCHP) is seeking adjunct communication faculty to teach in its General Education programs and provide exemplary student support. Faculty create effective learning experiences that support student success, use a variety of instructional methods and modalities—including online, face-to-face, and hybrid instruction—and demonstrate comfort with academic technology and a willingness to innovate. Appointments are made on a course-by-course basis and depend on enrollment and program needs.

Requirements

• Academic credentials from a regionally accredited college or university appropriate to the level and content of the course; optimally, 18 graduate credits in Communication.
• Experience and comfort with academic technology.

• A master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated teaching competence.
• Experience in course design.
