Adjunct Faculty at RVCC
About The Position
River Valley Community College (RVCC) is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in teaching courses on a course-by-course basis. Applications are accepted across all disciplines, though there may not be an immediate need for every applicant’s background and experience. Applicant information will remain active on file, and resumes may be retained for future openings. Adjunct appointments are temporary and cover a specified contract period. Instruction may be conducted in a classroom or online. Adjunct level is determined by education and experience, and salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants should submit an online application, cover letter, resume or Curriculum Vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and a copy of official or unofficial transcripts. The cover letter should list courses previously taught, if applicable, and courses the applicant is qualified to teach. A resume does not replace the completed employment application, and Employment History sections stating “see resume” will not be accepted. Resumes are reviewed on an ongoing basis until staffing needs are met.
Requirements
- Strong academic background.
