About The Position

This part-time, temporary position teaches dual-credit Mass Communications at an affiliated Independent School District (ISD). Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is to support the District’s mission of providing a quality education. Faculty members serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning; uphold the colleges’ mission and values; and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson.

Applicants must be teachers with an ISD affiliated with Palo Alto College. Hours per week vary, and evening or weekend work may be required. Pay depends on education level. This position is not benefits eligible.

Requirements

• Must be a teacher with the designated ISD affiliated with Palo Alto College.
• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
