About The Position

Concordia University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Theology. Teaching responsibilities include The Bible and/or Christian Faith in the Fall 2025 and/or Spring 2026 semesters on the Mequon campus.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree Required
  • Status as an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod or of a sister synod in fellowship with the LCMS
  • Effective teaching ability at the undergraduate level
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well with students of different ages and from other countries and religions
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Responsibilities

  • Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
  • Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university.
  • All other duties as assigned.
