About The Position
The San Antonio College Theatre program is seeking to hire adjunct faculty to teach performance-related drama courses. Teaching faculty are professional educators responsible for fulfilling the District mission of providing a quality education. Faculty members are responsible to a department/program chairperson, and their relationship with students is one of leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning. Faculty members will uphold the mission and values of the colleges and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Theatre Arts or related field; OR master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours of Theatre Arts or related field.
- Related Field Examples: Acting, Directing, Dramaturgy, Musical Theatre, Playwriting, Technical Theatre, Theatre History, Theatre Pedagogy, Theatrical Design.
