About The Position

This position involves teaching an elementary education classroom management and practicum course (El Ed 299R). The faculty member will participate in university, college, and department faculty meetings as requested and meet appropriate dress and conduct standards. Preference will be given to candidates available to teach daytime classes (8 am - 4 pm). The successful candidate will be required to relocate to and reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Degree must be in elementary education or early childhood education, or similar, from an accredited university.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • Expertise in elementary and/or early childhood education classroom management (K-6).
  • Successful experience as a licensed K-6 public school classroom teacher, minimum 4 years experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.

  • Availability to teach daytime classes (8am -4pm).
