About The Position

Baker College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Psychology for its Running Start Program at Eton Academy in Birmingham, Michigan. This program is designed for students aiming to get a head start on their college and career goals. The class will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM, from August 24th to December 13th. The successful candidate will embody Baker College's student-first philosophy, acting as a positive role model and brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology or an acceptable subfield (general psychology, educational psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, experimental psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, human relations, counseling (including marriage and family therapy and educational counseling), human development, or social work).
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Psychology for the Running Start Program at Eton Academy.
  • Support high school students in their college and career goals.
  • Contribute to the overall success of Baker College.
  • Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
