About The Position

Baker College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Psychology for its Running Start Program at Muskegon High School. This program is designed for students aiming to get a head start on their college and career goals. The class will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:20 AM to 10:50 AM, starting August 24th and concluding January 15th. The ideal candidate will embrace Baker College's Student-First philosophy, contribute to the college's success, and serve as a positive role model and brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology or an acceptable subfield (general psychology, educational psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, experimental psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, human relations, counseling (including marriage and family therapy and educational counseling), human development, or social work).
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in another discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in psychology.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Psychology courses for the Running Start Program at Muskegon High School.
  • Support the student-first philosophy of Baker College.
  • Contribute to the overall success of Baker College.
  • Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
