About The Position
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members for its Surgical Technology program. PVCC is a nonresidential two-year institution serving Central Virginia, known for its transfer curriculum, relationship with the University of Virginia, and workforce development programs. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for potential openings, with review beginning immediately and continuing until positions are filled. Adjunct faculty are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.
Requirements
- Qualified and interested in teaching Surgical Technology.
Responsibilities
- Teaching developmental and/or college-level courses in Surgical Technology.
- Potentially teaching distance-learning courses.
- Teaching during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
- Primarily face-to-face instruction with the possibility of remote instruction.
