About The Position
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members for its Geology program. PVCC is a two-year institution serving Central Virginia, known for its transfer curriculum, relationship with the University of Virginia, and workforce development programs. This position may involve teaching at various PVCC locations, including the Giuseppe Center and correctional facilities. Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis until positions are filled.
Requirements
- Qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in Geology.
Responsibilities
- Teaching developmental and/or college-level courses in Geology.
- Potentially teaching distance-learning courses.
- Teaching during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
- Primarily face-to-face instruction with the possibility of remote instruction.
