About The Position
Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine invites applications for an adjunct faculty position teaching a four-credit Physiology I course in person during the spring 2027 semester, January 4 through April 23, 2027. The school is located in Miami Shores, Florida, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The adjunct faculty member will teach the course in person; administer and grade assessments using ExamSoft; report grades in Canvas; proctor examinations in person; provide student advisement; and follow BUSPM protocols for course administration. Applications will be reviewed starting immediately and accepted until the position is filled.
Requirements
- A strong commitment to teaching a diverse population of medical students.
Nice To Haves
- A PhD degree; other appropriately well-qualified candidates may be considered.
- Previous experience teaching in this field in a professional medical school setting.
Responsibilities
- Teach a four-credit Physiology I course in person during the spring 2027 semester.
- Administer and grade assessments using the ExamSoft testing system.
- Report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System.
- Proctor examinations in person.
