About The Position
College of DuPage believes in the power of teaching and learning. We seek adjunct faculty members to teach PE -Swimming/Water Aerobics. COD faculty are committed to facilitate and support student success in learning. We strive to meet the individual educational needs of our unique, multicultural campus. Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
- Teaching experience in swim-related physical/exercise activity classes required.
- Availability in either Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026.
- In-person classes during the day; must be available to come to campus.
- Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
Nice To Haves
- Nationally accredited group fitness certification preferred.
- Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Responsibilities
- Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
- Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
- Student evaluation.
- Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
