About The Position
Urshan University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to serve within its Organizational Leadership Department, with a focus on the Business Management Track and courses in Accounting, Finance, and Economics. This position is available for both online and on-campus teaching. The university is specifically looking for someone local to the Urshan campus who is passionate about teaching, investing in students, and sharing their professional experience in the classroom.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business

- Ability to teach during the day
Responsibilities
- Prepare for class sessions
- Teach classes
- Grade student assignments in a timely manner
- Respond to student e-mails in a timely manner
- Meet students as necessary outside of class to answer questions/review course materials
- Participate in required orientations, training, and instructional meetings
- Complete required compliance training, including but not limited to FERPA and Sexual Misconduct training
- Coordinate with department chairs, program coordinators, or full-time faculty regarding course content and expectations
- Implement department-approved textbooks, course materials, and assessment practices
- Maintain current knowledge and skills in the instructional discipline
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs within the scope of the assigned course(s)
- The University reserves the right to assign other normal instructional responsibilities as may be appropriate for adjunct faculty.
