About The Position
The Department of Performance Studies at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of organ. The position begins in the spring semester on Monday, January 25, 2027. Compensation is $4,215.98 for a 3-credit course. A full course is considered to have nine enrolled students; if a section has eight or fewer students, salary is prorated based on enrollment.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability as a master organist.
- Demonstrated ability and experience teaching organ to students with a variety of skill levels.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Highly organized.
- MM in Music.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Responsibilities
- Teach organ to students with a variety of skill levels.
- Attend studio class and studio recitals.
- Participate in the David Dubois Organ Competition.
