Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards) An equivalent/applicable combination of education and/or experience to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position required with teaching in continuing education or community education. Non-credit Community Education compensation is based on Pay Levels ranging from 1-5. A new faculty’s Pay Level is determined by the campus supervisor and ranges $20-$60 per hour. Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include teaching course load as assigned. To teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor. To prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course outcomes. To develop a relationship with students & staff that is professional and encourages teacher/student communication. To assist in the recruitment of students, as appropriate. When agreed upon, and as appropriate, to assist in the evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance. To represent the college in a professional manner throughout the communities and college district by promoting a positive public image. To complete all required annual CMC training courses. Ex. Title IX, Digital Accessibility, and Data Security and Privacy. Other duties as assigned.
