About The Position
Specific responsibilities of adjunct faculty are given in their letter of appointment.
Requirements
- All faculty must have at least a Master’s degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching with 18 hours of course work related to the course(s) being taught.
- In some cases, subject to the approval by the Provost, a faculty member could be recommended for appointment based on substitution of significant experience for the degree.
- A memo from the Dean placed in the faculty member’s personnel file is required to justify an exception to the accreditation standards of CACREP and must include certification of the knowledge and skills.
