About The Position

The Scott L. Carmona College of Business at Saginaw Valley State University seeks a part-time instructor to teach Management courses during the Winter 2027 semester, from January to May. Candidates should be available to teach in-person courses on the SVSU campus, including daytime and evening offerings. A complete application must include a cover letter and resume.

The role’s duties are generally performed in a classroom, with occasional administrative tasks outside the classroom. All work associated with the position must be performed within Michigan. Weekly hours vary according to class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in Business or Management.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness or potential to be effective in the teaching role.
• Experience and ability to interact positively with all members of the campus community.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• All work associated with the position must be performed within Michigan.
